With any olympic event you need to be sure as soon as any venue has been confirmed 100% you look into booking some kind of accomodation if your not already a local!

Being one of the largest sporting events in the world you need to make sure your at the front of the queue to reserve anything!

If a lot of you are going, it is probably cheaper to get a vacation home rather than stay in a hotel. Winter games are considered peak season so prices tend to be a little more expensive.

The winter olympics was awesome this year. Good thing there were lots of snow. Better plan ahead if you want to attend the next one because places tend to get fully-booked fast.

The games were quite impressive this season, the ice season really hit it off i should say. Its really very hard to move round in that cold though

I would give anything to go to the winter olympics, its been a dream for quite a few years and I can’t think of a better location than Vancouver. Really like the idea of renting out a house, going to look into that seriously.

I expect there is a lot of money to be had renting your home out during the olympics. And there is obviously a great need for accommodation. Hope everyone gets sorted, would be chance of a lifetime to be able to go to Vancouver.

A friend of mine went to see the olympics and said it was fantastic, how friendly people were and how easy it was to get accommodation sorted (she stayed in numerous places.) She wants to return now, just to enjoy Vancouver, she loved it.

I was at the Olympics, and I found a great hotel that would not be sad to advertise. Great I spent my vacation in Vancouver.
